CONTRA-TIEMPO Activist Dance Theatr - Bianca began her professional career in Los Angeles for five years with CONTRA-TIEMPO, a company artistically connected to the lineage of Urban Bush Women. During her five years with the company, she developed the foundation of her practice as a performer, teaching artist, and community-engaged artist. It was through CONTRA-TIEMPO that she first came to understand dance as a catalyst for social change—learning how performance, education, cultural storytelling, and community dialogue could exist as interconnected parts of an artistic life. This formative chapter continues to shape the way she performs, teaches, and creates today.

Viver BRasil Dance CompAny - Bianca spent five seasons performing with Viver Brasil Dance Company, one of the nation's leading Afro-Brazilian dance organizations dedicated to preserving and celebrating the traditions of the African diaspora in Brazil. Through performance, cultural exchange, and immersive study, she deepened her relationship to Afro-Brazilian movement, music, and Orixá traditions while developing as both an artist and leader. She later served as Dance Captain for the company's long-running Viva Navidad collaboration with Disney California Adventure, helping bring culturally rooted performance to one of the country's largest public audiences while expanding her experience in large-scale public performance and artistic leadership.

URBAN BUSH WOMEN - Years after beginning her career within a movement lineage deeply influenced by Urban Bush Women, Bianca joined the company as a Touring Company Member. She performed nationally in works including Haint Blu and the Legacy + Lineage + Liberation tour, entering a creative process grounded in Black feminist dance theater, cultural memory, and community-centered practice. Her time with the company expanded the values first introduced through CONTRA-TIEMPO and deepened her understanding of performance as both artistic expression and collective transformation.

In Fall 2026, Bianca WILL BE maKING her New York City Center Encores! debut in In the Heights, marking an exciting expansion into musical theater. Building on years of ensemble work across concert dance, opera, AND AFRO LATIN DIASPORIC DANCE, she continues to pursue projects that celebrate AND REPRESENT HER LATINIDAD THROUGH movement as storytelling.

She has also done pre-pros with Luis Salgado, and was an ensemble member in the very first workshop of jesse J. Sanchez’s sueños: our american musical.
