PERFORMANCE

Performance has always been Bianca's first language. Her work moves fluidly between concert dance, opera, musical theater, film, DIASPORA, and interdisciplinary performance, bringing contemporary movement into spaces where storytelling, music, and cultural memory intersect.

CONCERT DANCE

Rooted in contemporary dance and Afro-Latin diasporic movement traditions, Bianca has performed with companies including NEW YORK CITY BASED Urban Bush Women, LA BASED CONTRA-TIEMPO Activist Dance Theater, Viver Brasil Dance Company, and CREATIVE CAPITAL AWARD WINNING Body As A Crossroads. SHE HAS TOURED INTERNATIONALLY AND nationally aCROSS venues and festivals including Jacob's Pillow, The Joyce Theater, Harlem Stage, MASS MoCA, REDCAT, The Hollywood Bowl, THE FORD LA, and more.

Alongside performing, she has served in rehearsal direction, dance captain, and creative support roles, deepening her collaborative approach to new work development and ensemble creation.

OPERA

Bianca's work in opera spans performance, leadership, and movement collaboration at some of the country's leading opera institutions.

She made her Metropolitan Opera debut as the principal dancer portraying the “iconic Blue Yemayá Mary” in El Niño choreographed by marjani forte-saunders, and later returned as a featured ensemble performer in Ainadamar and Carmen. At Houston Grand Opera, she performed as a principal ensemble dancer in the world premiere of Intelligence, originating the role of an “Is/Was/Will”. Following her performance in Ainadamar, she returned to LA Opera as Dance Captain Assistant, supporting the remount of Deborah Colker's choreography and Antonio Najarro's flamenco staging.

Across each production, Bianca brings a collaborative approach to physically rich storytelling at the intersection of dance, culture, and theater.
